One-half right rear view of the Portuguese Naval Aviation Fairey IIID Seaplane "Santa Cruz," crewed by Artur de Sacadura Cabral (pilot) and Carlos Viegas Gago Coutinho (navigator), at rest on the water in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at the conclusion of their flight across the South Atlantic Ocean; June 17, 1922. Sacadura Cabral raises the flags of Portugal and Brazil from the cockpit as Gago Coutinho fires a signal pistol into the air.
