Uncolored engraving of an image of the new air-ship "City of New York," from the September 24, 1859 edition of Harper's Weekly. The scene shows the air-ship aloft over water. Two figures are in the gondola, and one is dropping a parcel with a parachute over the side. Multiple flags are displayed on the air-ship below the balloon. Various articles are on the reverse.
