Collection Item Summary:
Apollo astronauts used this instrument to determing the attitude, in three dimensions, of the Command Module as it traveled through space. It was patterned after a similar indicator used on aircraft, but modified for use on a spacecraft that operated mostly in the absence of aerodynamic forces. This indicator, probably unflown, was removed from its housing for display purposes.
