Midget Racer "Shoestring" (r/n N26C, race number 16), designed by Rod Kreimendahl, Built by Carl and Vincent Ast. Pilot Bob Downey came in seventh place in the Goodyear midget racer finals, National Air Races. "Shoestring" was still racing in 1967 when owner-pilot Ray Cote took third place at the Nationals at Reno at 200.557 MPH.
