Collection Item Summary:

A 35 HP Berkshire car, Berkshire Automobile Company, at the landing of the Aero Club of America's Centaur balloon, Woodford, Vermont, October 22, 1906. The partially deflated balloon and its basket are visible to the right of the car. Drivers Floyd Knight and Charles A. Daniels are in the car; Centaur's crew - Charles T. Walsh, Major Samuel Reber and Captain Charles de Forest Chandler presumably stand by the balloon basket. "A" marked on the print indicates Centaur landing point; "B" indicates the car.
