These medals and trophies were awarded to General James (Jimmy) Doolittle for his aeronautical engineering and piloting accomplishments. General Doolittle earned his Doctor of Science Degree in aeronautical engineering from MIT in 1925.
This object is on display in Boeing Aviation Hangar at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA.
