Collection Item Summary:

This is a 1:20 scale model of a proposed advanced radar reconnaissance satellite. The U.S. government has declassified very little information on space-based radar-imaging systems used for reconnaissance, and it is not known whether this system or a similar one was ever tested or deployed.

RCA made the model and donated it to the Museum in 1975.
