Model was created for use in the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum exhibit "Life in the Universe," on display in the Arts and Industries Building from September 1974 through March 1975 before being moved to the NASM National Mall Building (Gallery 107) for display from July 1, 1976, through March 1, 1979; Washington, D.C.
