Physical Description

Uncolored wood engraving of a rescue of a balloonist near Savannah, Georgia. The image shows a balloon aloft above water in what looks to be strong winds. A man in a row boat is holding on to a rope that is tied to the balloon. One of the balloonists is climbing down this rope from the balloon to the row boat. The other two balloonists are falling from the balloon to the water below. Newsprint is on the reverse, showing the print was cut from a newspaper.
