On May 20-21,1927, Charles Lindbergh became the first person to fly nonstop between New York and Paris. Following his flight of 33 hours 30 minutes, Lindbergh stayed at the US Embassy in Paris for several days of celebrations and appointments. The Embassy presented Lindbergh with these monogrammed pajamas.
