Portrait photo of Gnnther Rall, the third highest scoring German flying Ace in WW II. His first of 275 victories was 12 May 1940 while assigned to Jagdgeschwader 52. January 1956 he returned to active duty with the Luftwaffe and became head of the German Air Force as a Lieutenant General.
