One-half left front view of a Sloane H-1 Tractor Biplane (Sloane #6) on the ground. Copied from a half-tone photograph in "Flying" Magazine, May 1916. Caption reads "The New York National Guard's new Sloan-Day military tractor biplane equipped with a 125 h.p. Hall-Scott motor. With this machine De Lloyd Thompson on April 11 made an altitude flight of over 12,000 feet with one passenger."
