Reaction Motors Inc. and U.S. Navy crew who worked on Reaction Motors first JATOs, 1943, by a Martin PBM-3 Mariner aircraft at Annapolis, Maryland. First installation of Reaction Motors 3,000 lb JATO on Martin PBM-3 No. 6586 in December 1943 or January 1944. Among these individuals are: C. E. Bellais, CWO, top row, left; John Shesta, Hugh Franklin Pierce, unknown, Lieut. William Gore, Lovell Lawrence, Frank Muth, head draftsman, Reaction Motors, Inc., Les Collins of RMI, and unknown. Bottom row identities, unknown.
