Christmas card from Dale White and Chauncey Spencer commemorating their 1939 Chicago - Washington DC Goodwill Flight. White (left) and Spencer are depicted as flying helmet wearing birds sitting on a branch of a tree while another bird regards them quizzically from another branch. Unfolded, the card has a stylized map of the route of their flight and a message: "Just a coupla 'birds' hopping around... Spending lots of time down on the ground - But since the wind is shifting - and the gay season is here, We chirp... 'A Merry Christmas - and A Happy New Year' - Spencer-White"
