Stearman Model 4-E (4-W) Junior Speedmail (r/n NC667K) on the ground during refueling at the Grand Central Air Terminal, Glendale, California, by a Richfield Gasoline truck. A Transcontinental & Western Airlines (TWA) Douglas DC-2 (r/n NC13716) is seen parked in the background. Circa 1935. Stearman is labelled below the cockpit as the "official plane" of the "Jimmie Allen Flying Club" in reference to the radio adventure serial "The Air Adventures of Jimmie Allen" sponsored by Richfield Oil.
