This battery supplied power to the integrated motor of the Hasselblad cameras used on the Apollo 11 mission. Two built-in batteries were installed in each camera motor, providing over 12 volts of power to advance film and cock the shutter when an astronaut pressed the actuation button on the front of the camera.

NASA transferred this bag to the Museum with other Apollo 11 equipment in 1970.
