Sid Parks, founder of Park Aerial Surveys, built this precision mapping camera to the design specifications of the U.S. Geological Survey. With two wide-angle, 6-inch lenses and synchronized shutters, the camera produced pairs of exposures that overlapped to form stereoscopic photos with minimal distortion. The Twinplex was one of several multiplex cameras developed for precision topographical mapping. A film magazine is to the left.
