This cardboard face mask of Wilma Deering, a character from the Buck Rogers comic strip, allowed young fans to pretend to be the spunky and adventurous heroine and love interest of the space-based adventure series. An earlier version of this mask, illustrated with curlier hair, was issued as a Cocomalt premium in 1933. This later version, manufactured in Japan, can be identified because the character is illustrated with straighter hair.

Collector Michael O'Harro gave this mask to the Museum in 1993.
