The National Air and Space Museum has teamed up with the Washington DC Electric Vehicle Grand Prix and the Global Education Energy and Environment organization to bring you an exciting day of activities devoted to education about energy, efficiency, and environmental consciousness. In addition to participating in hands-on activities and demonstrations related to energy, you will marvel at go-cart-size cars built by high school students. The cars are electric powered, and if the weather permits they will race, with the winner being determined by how far their cars can go in an hour with a given amount of battery power.
Join us for this special Super Science Saturday!
