The Fleet was a primary training aircraft at the Roosevelt Aviation School, one of the leading civilian aviation schools in the country in the 1930s. One of ten Fleets owned by Roosevelt Field, Inc., Long Island, New York, it was flown by hundreds of student pilots between 1929 and 1942.
