Lunar modules are two-part spacecraft specially designed for landing and taking off from the Moon. Learn about Lunar Modules 1, 2, and 3 from Bob Craddock, a geologist in the Museum's Center for Earth and Planetary Studies; Paul Fjeld, the restoration fellow leading the restoration of the Musuem's Lunar Module 2 (LM-2); Marv Rosenberg, the engineer who oversaw the drop tests of the LM-2 at NASA's Johnson Space Center and delivered LM-2 to the Smithsonian; and Rusty Schweickart, the lunar module pilot on Apollo 9 (joining in via webcast).

Meet at the Welcome Center in the Boeing Milestones of Flight Hall on the first floor.

About the Ask an Expert lecture series: Every Wednesday at noon in the National Mall Building, a Museum staff member talks to the public about the history, collection, or personalities related to a specific artifact or exhibition in the Museum.
