Member Evening with Leonardo da Vinci's Codex on the Flight of Birds

Trying to discover how humans could fly, Leonardo da Vinci used his observations of birds. Dating to 1505, the Codex on the Flight of Birds contains 18 pen and brown ink folios that offer insight into the mind of the creative genius. On loan from the Biblioteca Reale in Turin, Italy, the original Codex will be on display at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum for a limited engagement.
