Kick-off National Robotics Week (April 4-12) with a focus on robotics innovations and research. Robotics has become an integral part of our everyday life, including aeronautics, space exploration, and human spaceflight.  The Museum exhibits a number of robotics milestones, such as DARPA’s ARM robot, Robonaut 1, the MER Mars Rover model, and the robot car "Stanley," among many others.  In a full day of activities, demonstrations, and presentations, visitors will learn about current robotics research, maneuver robots through different challenges, and interact with robotics experts.

Two special programs, featuring university robotics teams from around the country, will be webcast from the Moving Beyond Earth gallery at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Day-long program activities, including robotics demonstrations and challenges, will be held in the Space Race gallery from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
