Soar Together @ Air and Space is a monthly virtual family program from the National Air and Space Museum. Through live events and interactive activities you can do anytime, your family can explore a different air and space topic every month.

This month’s theme is all about how scientists, engineers and inventors create, improve on ideas and solve problems.

Join us for a reading of Steve Breen’s touchingly funny story of Violet the Pilot, a girl who creates flying machines from junk. Then learn about real homebuilt aircraft and try your hand at creating a flying machine from recycled materials.

Virtual Family Challenge on Goosechase

  • Saturday, October 9, available from 12:30 to 3:30 pm ET

Join our monthly Virtual Family Challenge using the app GooseChase! These challenges feature fun missions, activities and photo challenges for you and your friends and family to do together, featuring content and activities from past and present programs. Earn points with every activity you complete! 

The game runs for 3 hours, and you can complete challenges any time during this period. 

Join the game by using these simple steps:

  • Choose to play as a guest or register for a personal account with a username and password of your choice.
