The Airmen of Note, of the acclaimed Air Force Band, has an international reputation for being one of the finest and most versatile big bands of its kind in the world. Come join us and let the band entertain you with its smooth jazz and patriotic big band selections.
Performances will begin at 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm and 2 pm. Each concert will last 20 minutes.
About the concert series: The summer concert series at the Museum in Washington, DC will feature vocal and instrumental selections from a variety of musical genres including big band, jazz, popular, patriotic, and classical. World-class musicians from the U.S. military are sure to both entertain and inspire you. Concerts are held most Fridays through August 29.
The United States Air Force Band's "Airmen of Note" modern dance jazz band are regulars at the National Air and Space Museum's Independence Day Concert and other events.
