Views of Africa, a collaboration with the National Museum of African Art, presents an exploration of diverse perspectives of the Earth focusing on the dynamic landscapes of Africa. Presented in conjunction with the Earth Matters exhibition at the National Museum of African Art, Views of Africa includes images of Africa taken from space by orbiting satellites. These are paired with Core, a new artwork by South African artist Jeremy Wafer. This presentation will describe the exhibition elements and explore how they came together. Joining this program will be Karen Milbourne, curator at the National Museum of African Art. Smithsonian staff work with artist Jeremy Wafer to install a new exhibition at the National Air and Space Museum.
