Thanks to everyone who participated in our Geography from Space 2017 online challenge. Entries came in from around the globe! We had submissions from 18 different countries. From outside the U.S., Canada submitted the most responses and tied with Colombia and the UK for most correct entries. Thirty-three U.S. states participated with Virginia and Washington tied for the most submissions, and Virginians submitting the most correct answers. Congratulations to all who participated and tested your geographic knowledge!
The Geography from Space game is held every year during National Geography Awareness Week.
You will be challenged to identify geographic locations on the Earth based on a satellite or aerial image and a brief clue.
Please return in November to participate online. Until then, test your geography skills with the quizzes below.
