The Museum offers several virtual experiences for school groups who cannot visit the Museum in person. These online experience have been designed to engage and excite learners, while aligning with their educational needs.
The following virtual programs are available with a reservation and are designed for groups of 10 or more.
Reserved programs are intended for school groups, homeschool groups, and community-based organizations serving youth that meet the minimum program requirements. If you have questions about if your organization meets the Museum’s program requirements, please contact NASMTours@si.edu.

Our Anytime Scavenger Hunt competitions are aligned with our Anytime Expedition content and STEAM Labs challenge students to demonstrate what they know about the topics in a way that embraces creativity and multiple learning styles. These scavenger hunts are flexible enough to be done onsite during a visit to the Museum or can be completely remote.

Virtual Youth Docent Tours
Explore the museum on a tour lead by a Youth Docent. Each interactive Virtual Youth Docent Tour presentation for 3rd - 5th grades lasts approximately 45 minutes and will be hosted on Zoom. If your school uses a different platform, please note your platform preference within your registration.

These self-guided tours and activities are designed to allow visitors to engage with the Museum’s stories and artifacts around a theme. Visitors can adapt these programs to fit their schedule.
