Phase I Apollo Helmet

X-ray of a helmet that was developed for the Phase I Apollo program. The David Clark company built it. It is make of all polycarbonate and has a "dome" shape. The size and shape of the helmet would have enabled the wearer to move his head within the helmet. The helmet was used on the S-1026 IVA suit in addition to the modified suit above.
