Amy Stamm works in the Office of Communications at the National Air and Space Museum on media relations, marketing, speechwriting, and digital projects. Managing the museum's social media and editorial content, she writes and edits blogs, runs the Museum's social media platforms, oversees the museum's email newsletters, and leads other digital initiatives. Amy holds a Bachelor's in Strategic Communication from High Point University and a Master's in Public Relations and Corporate Communication from Georgetown University.

Neil Armstrong’s Apollo 11 Spacesuit To Go On Display July 16 at Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum PRESS RELEASE

The National Air and Space Museum will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing with a five-day celebration at the museum and on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. From July 16, exactly 50 years from the launch of Apollo 11, to July 20, the day Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin took the first steps on the moon, visitors can take part in celebrating this momentous milestone in history.
