Michelle Lamberton is Associate Director for Business Operations and Exhibits at the Museum. In this capacity, she leads the functions that provide centralized operations support to the Museum, including Finance, Human Resources, Organizational Resources, Administrative Services, Information Technology, Procurement, Project Management, Exhibits Design, Exhibits Production, and Exhibits Technology.
Lamberton previously served in senior executive roles at BAE Systems, Inc., as vice president of Business Operations for the Intelligence & Security sector, and as vice president of Internal Audit for the company. Other industry experience includes work at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and The Analytic Sciences Corporation (TASC). She also served in the U.S. Government as a senior program analyst on the staff of the Deputy Director of Central Intelligence for Community Management. She began her career in the U.S. Air Force as an acquisition management officer with assignments on the staff of the Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition at the Pentagon and at Electronic Systems Division, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts.
She holds a bachelor of science from the U.S. Air Force Academy, an MBA from Western New England College, and a master of science in Information Management from Marymount University.
