Jim Beatty was a bright, warm, humorous, caring husband, father and friend. Among many things, he enjoyed photography, radio code, old toys and traveling down endless desert roads on his two wheeled Star Ship "Goose”. Jim led by example, teaching us Crew Concepts ten years before they became the standard. He taught us how to be Captains. He is dearly missed and will never be forgotten.
