    Senior Army Aviator & Signal Officer from 1962-83. Flew over 950 combat hours in helicopter gunships & transports during 1966-69 in Vietnam. Awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Silver Star, Air Medal for Valor, 30 Air Medals and other service awards.
    Commanded 142nd Signal Battalion, Second Armored Division 1978-80. Director of Combat Development, USA Signal Center, 1983. Life Member AAAA.
    Marcia & jack and three sons retired in 1984 to San Francisco for a second career in Computer Systems and Network Development for VISA Intl. They enjoyed flying their Cessna 182 to many parts of the USA during the 80s and 90s. Jack worked as a volunteer pilot for the San Mateo County Air Squadron for several years and remains active in the Experimental Aircraft Assoc. into his retirement in 2002.
    Jack and Marcia live in San Carlos, CA near their sons and their families, enjoying two granddaughters and active involvement in their church community.
