Welcome to the Virtual Tour of The Wright Brothers & The Invention of the Aerial Age exhibition opened in 2022 at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC. This exhibition explores who Wilbur and Orville Wright were, what they achieved and how they did it, and how the world first reacted to their revolutionary invention. At the center of the story and the heart of the gallery is the 1903 Wright Flyer, one of the most iconic artifacts in the Smithsonian's collection.
