The National Air and Space Museum has two locations: one in Washington, DC and one in Chantilly, VA.
Admission is free.

Experience one of the most popular museums in the world. Immerse yourself in recently opened exhibits with historic objects like the 1903 Wright Flyer (first successfully powered airplane) and the spacesuit worn by the first person to walk on the Moon.

Explore even more air and space in two giant hangars filled with over 3,000 aviation and space objects including the Space Shuttle Discovery and Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. Watch as Museum staff work to conserve our collection in the Mary Baker Engen Restoration Hangar.
