In the Textron How Things Fly exhibition, nearly 50 interactives work together with featured artifacts to communicate the idea that the forces of lift, weight, drag, and thrust guide the design and function of everything that flies.

Using immersive experiences such as wind tunnels, the newly reimagined exhibition will explore how people use science and engineering to maximize and minimize the forces acting on aircraft and spacecraft. Topics such as super- and hypersonic flight, aircraft design, and spacecraft design will also be featured. Textron How Things Fly will be the Museum’s most interactive, hands-on exhibition.
