This collection consists of one stub of a ticket issued to Carl W. Chase for a flight with Curtiss Flying Service. The ticket, which measures approximately 4 by 3 inches, is dated June 9, 1929 and is numbered 1188. The ticket features a stylized image of an airplane flying among clouds above the Curtiss logo and a facsimile signature of Charles S. "Casey" Jones. The text on the ticket reads, in part, "This certifies that Carl W. Chase has had an airplane ride with 'the oldest flying organization in the world'." On the reverse of the ticket are several original signatures and initials presumed to be crew members and/or other passengers.
