Scope and Contents

This collection consists of 49 photographs taken by Brosius during his World War II career. The prints cover the following topics: the Japanese Surrender Delegation, Ie Shima, 1945, (with Douglas C-54 and Mitsubishi G4M in background); scenes from occupied Japan; derelict Japanese aircraft; nose art on Consolidated and North American aircraft; and group insignia and signs for the 113th Engineer Construction and 1897th Aviation Engineers Groups.
