This collection consists of one brochure, dated 1939, for the Leonard J. Schrader School of Aeronautics in Nauvoo, Illinois. The brochure measures 4 by 9 inches and is 32 pages long, including the front and back covers. Entitled, "Things I want to know about Aviation," and edited by Leonard J. Schrader, the brochure contains a drawing of the School of Aeronautics building, an artist's conception of a proposed Leonard J. Schrader Airport, a map of where the school was located, and sections on Vocations in Aviation, Safety, History, Airplanes, Engines and Motors, Meteorology and Navigation, and Miscellaneous where information is presented in a question and answer format covering both instruction in those areas as well as providing some aviation history information. The sections are illustrated with relevant photographs. Also included with the brochure is a business reply card to obtain additional information.
