Scope and Contents
This collection consists of a 1945-1946 Pesco Aviation Insignia Calendar. The calendar is spiral bound and is in the format of a daily planner. The calendar includes information about the company and insignia in general at the front and the pages for each date are illustrated with squadron insignia from United States Army, Navy, and Marine Corps units. There is an index for all the included units at the front of the calendar. This particular calendar appears to have been used as a scrapbook or autograph book rather than as a calendar and includes newspaper clippings, photographs, ephemera (either attached to the pages or placed in between pages), as well as autographs of many military personnel.
