Trans World Airlines (TWA) introduced "Royal Ambassador Service" for first-class passengers on trans-Atlantic and other international flights in June 1961. This collection consists of a Trans World Airlines (TWA) (USA) Royal Ambassador Service dinner menu, in the form of a souvenir scroll, believed to be from a London to Chicago flight, circa 1966.
Trans World Airlines (TWA) introduced "Royal Ambassador Service" for first-class passengers on trans-Atlantic and other international flights in June 1961. The service was designed to provide personalized attention to passengers throughout the ticketing process and flight and featured an elaborate 2.5 hour dinner service with seven entree choices and served on fine china, silver, and crystal from an aisle cart. Throughout the years, Royal Ambassador Service was expanded to cover more flight segments.

This collection consists of a Trans World Airlines (TWA) (USA) Royal Ambassador Service dinner menu, in the form of a souvenir scroll, believed to be from a London to Chicago flight, circa 1966. The scroll measures approximately 14.5 by 12 inches unfurled and has a gold cord with tassels at the top. At the top left corner is the TWA logo and across the bottom right corner is the Royal Ambassador Service logo which consists of a red "sash" with a gold badge containing the letters "RA." The menu lists beverage selections; appetizers; entrees; side dishes; desserts; and à la carte items.
