On the front of this US Naval Aircraft booklet is a paragraph of information about the Boeing F4B-4 and the Grumman XF5F-1 Skyrocket. The booklet measures 5.5 by 3.5 inches and is paper covered. The images inside are black and white and are printed on six glossy pages that have been divided into six squares that are divided by perforated lines. The images each measure 1.75 by 1.75 inches. The photographer is listed on the front of the booklet as The Grogan Photo Service, Inc., Danville, Illinois. Aircraft depicted in the booklet include Stearman (1927) NS-1 (Model 73); Vought SB2U-1 and SB2U-2 Vindicators; Grumman J2F-1 Duck; Hall-Aluminum PH-2 and PH-3; Grumman F4F-3 Wildcat; Grumman F3F-1 and F3F-2; Grumman JRF-1 Goose; Consolidated (PBY) 28-1 Catalina; North American NJ-1; Boeing F4B-4; Beech D17S (SD17S) Staggerwing; Douglas BT-1 (Modified O-2K); Grumman XF5F-1 Skyrocket; and Northrop Gamma 8A-3N.
