The caterpillar tractor which is to pull the gantry away from the Mercury Atlas 9 spacecraft, also called Faith 7, is drawn on a diagonal just above the center of the scene. The blackened rectangle on the left is the front of the diesel engine of the tractor. The dome in the distance on the right is the blockhouse which has periscopes on top of it. Groups of men are loosely drawn and scattered on the ground and on the tractor.
