Single-coiled, double-row tubing with two-pipe openings on one side only. This object represents the newer design of utilizing two rows of tubing that is reflected in the original photos in Langley's "Memoir of Mechanical Flight" (Boilers of Aerodromes). The tubing is now separated, instead of beng coiled closely together, as in earlier designs. This indicates utilization of boilers in larger aerodromes and attention to better efficiency in circulating liquids. Stored with A19820857000
