Cylindrical paper lantern made from orange tissue paper. One of a set of three. Front of the lantern shows a balloon in black ink with stars streaming down on either side. Top half of the printing is done in black ink, bottom half is done in an aluminum alloy paint that sparks when the lantern is lit. Reverse has the instructions and an image of a lantern open and being lit. Copyright September 1896.
