This is an unassembled Aero-Jet Streak flying rocket model in its original retail package. Made by Victor Stanzel Company, the body, fins, and nose are plastic, rubber, and cardboard. It is powered by freon, and a can of freon is included. There is no parachute.
G. Harry Stine, a pioneer in the field of flying rocket models, donated this artifact to NASM in 1973.
This object is not on display at the National Air and Space Museum. It is either on loan or in storage.
