This Lunar Module Ascent Stage (LTA-3A) was an LM Test Article. It consists of various items of external and internal test hardware such as tanks, antennae, engine mounts, control panels, and crew equipment. During design development, this unit was used for static and dynamic structural integrity tests. It is mounted on LM Descent Stage LTA-3D.
