This long fabric bag was used to store film magazines from the 16mm data acquisition camera on the lunar module during the Apollo 11 mission. The bag was made to contain and protect a number of film cassettes during storage on the spacecraft prior and after use. Keeping cassettes inside the bag allowed allowed quick access for astronauts during the mission.

NASA transferred this film cassette bag to the Smithsonian in 1970.
