 Physical Description Light-colored wooden box with leather-wrapped metal handle. Two swinging L-clasps latch box shut. Interior has wood build-outs to support Japanese gun sight (removed in preparation for display in 2017), and leather strip to prevent lid from opening too far. One support is itself a box, with 5 holes filled with black foam(?). Metal hinges and clasps, dovetail joints. Dimensions 3-D (2938g): 32.4 × 33 × 15.9cm, 2.9kg (1 ft. 3/4 in. × 1 ft. 1 in. × 6 1/4 in., 6.5lb.)
