Object Details
Type ART-Miscellaneous Medium Box, Pin Physical Description Round cardboard and glass pin box. Lid has a design of a balloon surrounded by floral motifs done in metal pieces, mother of pearl, and paper that is sandwiched between a flat and a convex piece of glass. The words 'Emporte ma pensée' ("Carries my thoughts") are painted below the balloon. Rest of box is composed of thin cardboard. Sides are decorated in a Greek key pattern. Bottom of the interior of the box is lined in red paper. The bottom of the exterior of the box is lined in green paper. Dimensions Overall (dia. x depth): 6.4 × 3.2cm (2 1/2 × 1 1/4 in.)
